Vintage Aircraft will fly into Liverpool Airport over the weekend 28th and 29th June as part of the 75th Anniversary of Liverpool Airport.All kinds of events are planned by the Friends of Liverpool Airport, including Battle of Britain flypast and pleasure flights. Vintage buses are also coming out of storage for the event.

Ricky Tomlinson helps Lower pupils 

Arrived in Woolton-A beautifully florally decorated SuperLambanana.

The pupils from Lower Lea have helped paint it, assisted by Ricky Tomlinson.

It's situated on the triangle by the Village Cross opposite Negresco Decco (the old Coach and horses pub)

As part of the Woolton in Bloom project, WIB are looking for a cart, as in the old style pulled by horses. Failing that, maybe someone has come of the old cart wheels ? WIB are trying to do an arrangement outside the old Coach and Horses pub, so any replies would be gratefully received. If you can help-please reply to the post in the forum
